The course is surveyed in chronological order from antiquity to the modern age. It examines painting and sculpture, architecture and interiors, furniture and furnishings, gardens, glass, ceramics, metalware and objet d’art.

It also discusses how their creative development has been influenced through the ages by intellectual, philosophical and fashionable ideas, other cultures and their art forms, as well as social change.

The course is divided into four segments.

Videos = accompanied by beautiful music and imagery. They can be downloaded easily and watched on your Computer, iPhone or iPad. You can obtain nearly an hour of video for less than $5 five dollars

Podcast = two episodes each approximately 20 – 30 mins long (see Product FAQ)

eBooks = can be read on your computer, on your Kindle, iPad or other eBook reader. Sumptuous colour images illustrate each session

From November 1, 2012 – Choose to Complete our Online Course for a Certificate of Completion

If you wish to actively participate then on application, you can complete extra reading and obtain notes to help you to complete four essays – one for each segment of the course and a multi choice examination when the four segments are completed. This will then give you a Certificate of Completion.
