What would you do to stimulate civic thinking and ask the hard questions about fundamental human and communal values? Did you know 1 in 10 Australians are living in poverty and 1 in 6 children too? Australia is a country, which likes to project to the world it is a success story and that we all enjoy a certain quality of life. This national disgrace needs a national solution. Would you volunteer to help.

At 156 Cafe’s all over the country this Friday $1 of what you spend on a coffee will go to StreetSmart so that they can support the critical services that help the homeless.

StreetSmart Australia is a unique organization with a simple idea that really works. They have partnered with many great Australian restaurants where, in the lead-up to Christmas, every table is asked to add $2 or more to their bill, not even the price of a coffee or mineral water. It’s a simple idea that has a big impact on the lives of people who are homeless.
