By Design V – Martyn Cook Antiques & Mossgreen Invitation

Deco Console TableFriends of The Culture Concept Circle are invited to attend Martyn Cook Galleries at Sydney’s first show offering modernist furniture and objects 1900 – 1945.

By Design V is a selling show held in association with Mossgreen of Melbourne, from 22nd August to 18th September, 2014.

DeskExotic materials used as veneers were an intriguing aspect of the period in which they were made.

The Austrian Desk in Makore with inlaid mother of pearl and fruitwood, applied brass to base and verre eglomise top. c.1920 would be a wonderful addition to any professional or personal space.

As well as antiques prior to World War II, the showroom has a stunning range of fabrics, many not offered anywhere else in Australia.

Must say they are all certainly my cup of tea.
