Renowned for their stylish smooth sophisticated sleek and very cool jazz, the Janet Seidel Trio will be performing concerts all points south of Sydney in October 2015. Starting in the ACT they will be at Canberra’s Southern Cross Club in Woden on 23rd October and then at the Cooma Arts on the 24th October, where they will welcome Joshua Moran on drums as guest artist.
A Morning Melody concert at 11am in Traralgon by the trio on October 28 will kick the locals off to a great start when they appear on stage at the Latrobe Performing Arts Centre. This is where they will be presenting Doris and Me, with Janet, ‘Australia’s First Lady of Jazz Singing’ will be featuring songs originally sung by Hollywood legend Doris Day. Moving onto the Albury Wodonga region, they are performing at The Jazz Basement on Thursday 29th October.
Basing themselves in Melbourne, Janet Seidel Trio will perform their concert Les Chansons de Paris, with special guest star Joe Chindamo on piano at the Melbourne Recital Centre in the very chic Studio where Janet will sing the very best classic French songs.
Janet Seidel and her wing men David Seidel and Chuck Morgan win over new audiences time and time and again as they soothe and seduce with sensuous sounds, which are sure to bring you under their spell.
The final concert on this all points south tour is on November 1st, when they will perform at the Paynesville Wine Bar.
