This year I was unable to attend Melbourne Fashion Week which was held from Sunday 31st August till Friday 4th of September. So much to do and so little time.
But I thought I’d share with you all the tale of a gorgeous party entitled The Entrée.
The perfect moniker, as it was the start to an exciting week that many of my friends were attending, an entreé to runways.
Hosted by my divine friends , and put together by the PR dynamo Georgia Power of Melbourne and Georgette.
I was very tempted to jump on a plane knowing how much fun this crew can be.
Together, with photographer Chris Quyen they produce beautiful editorial images, of superb quality.
They could be straight out of the pages of a major publication.
Everything was how it should be for a sartorial soireé.
Pieroth Wines supplied the champagne and delicious catering by Brighton Manor Catering so the crowd of socialites, bloggers and media were well sated.
Adara on Collins opened an entire floor for guests to enjoy and explore.
Located at the Paris end of Collins Street, these apartments offer spacious and stylish apartment living right in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.
I know I’ll be checking them out and quite possibly checking in on my next venture to one of my favourite shopping capitals!
What better way to start Fashion Week but a manicure.
Trophy Wife Nails were on hand with the latest colours to match designer outfits and some truly spectacular jewels, all photographed by the talented Andy G.
Rutherford Jewellery, established in 1952, has earned a reputation for rare and unique jewels, silver and pearls.
They provided a stunning array of spectacular pieces for guest to enjoy.
In fact, Carolyn our editor just published a fabulous piece on the store only recently, so for more information on this heavenly haven of fine jewellery click here.
I was very envious to see the amazing art deco bracelet on Cissy’s wrist, this timeless piece was perfectly matched to her Steven Khalil black lace gown.
Warren cut a handsome figure in some of his favourite labels, G Star Raw jacket, H&M shirt, Balenciaga pants and shoes by Julius Marlow.
A glamorous start to a very busy week indeed!
So what a way to kick off Melbourne’s Fashion Week.
I’m definitely clearing the diary for next year so that I can enjoy the fun too!
