Tutu Day at the Queensland Ballet – Join the Festivities

The Queensland Ballet are getting set to have tutu much fun, on International Tutu Day, Sunday 2 February, 2014 at West End.

They are opening the doors of their ballet home at the Thomas Dixon Centre and inviting all to come and celebrate. It’s to be a family fun day full of activities, dance classes and behind-the-scenes glimpses into our ballet world

Everyone attending can meet the dancers and watch them take company class and there is a beginner ballet class available for all ages.

There will be a Kids craft station and a storyteller will entertain them.

You can learn how the dancers apply spectacular stage make-up and have your photo taken with a dancer. There will be tutu costume and set model displays and you can take a tour of the historic building.
