I’m not usually a white wearing kind of chick, I always find myself on the dark side of fashion.
So why am I gravitating towards my more angelic angle?
As we start to move out of the bleakness of winter and a little sunshine sprinkles it’s way into our lives.
Darker hues and heavier fabrics will be pushed aside for more ethereal pieces.
It’s just seems to be a natural progression, or is there more to it?
I don’t think we ever need to over-analyze our sartorial choices, sometimes its just a matter of being attracted to a certain style.
As I have mentioned before, the Boho look has been sneaking it’s way onto clothes racks all around the place.
However it will be during this Spring-Summer 2015 that sees this vibe come to the forefront of fashion.
This means fresh cottons, light linens and delectable lace.
Mini, maxi, fitted or floaty, you name it, it’s out there!

Lover White Lace Dress
When going for this particular style, and if you are wearing lighter shades, remember not everyone suits white.

Always check out the cream, ivory and beige options.
Like black, white can wash you out, so break up the look with a fabulously flattering colour close to your face.
I’ve already spotted a bunch of divine dresses and it’s only the beginning of the season.
Lover the label, Alice McCall and Shakuhachi all have stunning variations an the lace theme.
While Lover is tailored and grown up, the other two are a little more relaxed and hippie chic.
For architectural delights, look no further than boy wonder Toni Maticevski.

Valentino Spring-Summer 2015
For international brands think Chloe, Michael Kors and Valentino.
Remember it doesn’t have to be all sweetness and light.
It depends on how you accessorise your look.
Keep it fun and fresh with a delicate rose gold chain, simple stacked rings, fun flats and a cute cross body bag.
Finish with hair in a top knot for that casual look.
Toughen up the vibe with leather or suede ankle boots, faux fur vest and the “must have” fringed bucket bag.
Beach waves are the perfect addition.
Or channel your inner lady like predilection with a classic clutch, polished hair and strappy nude heel.
As I always say, stick to your inner style and work the look to suit you.
You may choose to just rock a fabulous peasant style blouse with this seasons flares, or white denim jeans with a classic breton stripe.
Anything is possible but if you stay true to yourself, you’ll always look fabulous!
White looks great with any shade and I’ve already got a few ideas of how I’ll style my perfect piece when I find it.
My Dior denim booties with my metallic ice blue clutch will work a charm, while my vintage Amco red cord jacket and cowboy boots will give the edge to anything too sweet.
And my mid length tobacco coloured suede coat and navy fedora will channel a festival vibe.
One piece, three different looks and I haven’t even found the dress yet!
Holy Moly…
…I think I’m liking the trip over to the other side.
I’d better get shopping, see you next week!
